Reiki, Mindfulness & Guided Imagery

 

1 Hour Mindfulness Meditation, Reiki, or Guided Imagery:

Mindful Meditation: Mindfulness is a type of meditation that involves focusing the mind on the present; to be aware of thoughts and feelings in the now, without judging.  Research has demonstrated that mindfulness, or being mindful, supports healthy immune function, thereby alleviating stress.

Reflexology: This modality focuses solely on the hands, feet, and face. Reflexology concentrates on trigger points on the hands/feet and is connected energetically to the brain and  central nervous system. By applying pressure on reflex areas that correspond to specific organs and other parts of the body, endorphins are released, and the body feels content.
 
Guided Imagery: Is a set of guided suggestions that assist in the relaxation of muscles and tissues of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, and stress.
 
Reiki Reiki is an ancient technique to realign energy centers of the body called chakras. When out of balance we tend to feel ill and stressed.  Reiki alleviates stress and tension and encourages a sense of peace and calm. Reiki is often utilized for pre-surgery, and individuals undergoing chemotherapy.
